Summertime biking or hiking in La Clusaz made easy

Enjoy the downhill journey by taking one of the lifts in La Clusaz! The lift system is often used by walkers, paragliders and mountain bike lovers. If you’re walking, make sure you know which trails are used for mountain biking: check out the map for more details, along with more information on what other sports are located around La Clusaz.

For the summertime luge, use the Patinoire télécabine/bubble. The Crêt du Merle and Crêt du Loup chairlifts provide access to the paragliding take-off area, as well as access for hikers and mountain bikers, or those who fancy a picnic on the mountain. The Beauregard télécabine/bubble is also open for walkers and bikers, with a number of restaurants open during the summer months for picturesque views of the local flora and the distant mountains.

If you decide to head further away from town for some proper mountain trekking in the French Alps, remember to take walking poles with you. Lots of our guests enjoy walking holidays with the expansive range of mountain hiking available in La Clusaz and the surrounding peaks. Mountain bikes are also popular, so make sure you are aware of the mountain biking routes before you head off.
